Project Reveal // California Contemporary Part 3 - The Cohesive Kid's Spaces

Okay. Next in our California Contemporary Project Reveal is the cohesive upstairs space for my client's two sons. Since the main floor is primarily adult-focused, they wanted to ensure the second floor tied together and made for a more kid-friendly extra special living space. Enter the kid's den....the perfect little cozy reading nook and play space, styled with a gallery wall of family photos, of course!

When my clients told me their sons liked dinosaurs, their bedroom design was a no brainer. Wall decals, like these from Etsy, make for simple decor that take up a nice portion of the wallspace - so easy and fun! The adorable bed linens and play teepee tent are from one of my favorite kid's room design companies, Scandiborn. The play tent is perfect for reading, resting, playing and hiding. And last but not least, one of my favorite go-to items to add the perfect touch and personalization to any home is this letter & ledges wall display set.

And finally, the boy's bathroom. The custom framed print was designed by yours truly on a whim (just one of my many side projects...) and come to find out it's one of my client's favorite bible verses. The Lord works in mysterious ways like that.
