Project Reveal // California Contemporary Part 2 - The Outdoor Oasis

Now that summer is officially here, we wanted to share one of our favorite parts of the Coral Gables California Contemporary home renovation - the outside space.

Let me show you the before photo to give you a little bit of context...

Yeaaahh...this required a much-needed facelift. We wanted to extend the light and brightness of the new indoor space outside, so we chose lighter furnishings and planters, and freshened up the space with more beautiful plants and greenery. We reconfigured the space plan and added artificial turf, creating a cozy, inviting outdoor lounge.

And in case it wasn't obvious, even in Miami where the foliage is everywhere, we like to style our outdoor spaces with curated floor and tabletop plants. Grab some cute planters from Target or West Elm and hit up your local nursery or even Home Depot for some plants to give the space a tropical vibe.

Best of all? We added an outdoor kitchen from Luxapatio for many summer nights eating and drinking al fresco. From the trellis to the Italian bistro lights, who wouldn't want to spend their time in this beautiful outdoor oasis?
